ABOUT TDI RACING
GEICO/TDI Racing was founded in 2006 by team owner, Mark Weiland.
Mark, an avid racer who took time off from racing to grow his company and career.
Seven years later Mark decided it was time to give back to the sport he loves and start a race team.
In December 2005 he found the feature rider he was looking for in JT Bennett.
With a few class championships, 3 AWRCS overall championships, and ISDE experience; JT had all the experience Mark was looking for to start a team.
In 2007 the GEICO/TDI Racing team pulled in veteran rider Duane Conner to dominate the morning races.
Mandi Mastin was brought on to give the team some presence in the women's class.
Mandi has nine different championships under her belt.Mark Cline and Ryan Kaintz joined the team as chief mechanic and engineer respectively as well as adding presence in their respective classes.
The 2008 racing season brings with it a change in direction for the team. Although the team is smaller, it's still just as strong if not stronger. We've added Women's Quad A rider Jennifer Albright to the team to pull in the ATV side of the sport, while veteran rider Josh McLevy joins JT Bennett in the pro ranks on the bikes. Josh can be found contesting the XC1 Pro class abaord the #711 and JT remains on his trusty #33 in the XC2 Pro Lites class.
